The lid fits incredibly well and is genuinely airtight. Because it's airtight, I don't recommend carbonated beverages as they'll eventually cause the lid to pop off.
I needed to replace the lids on two of our cups. These new lids have a stronger seal than the earlier lids. Great job!
We picked up 2 Pirani coffee cups during our time in Turks & Caicos and have been a firm favourite as they are not only nostaligic sourvenirs but a really tough, durable, perfectly sized companion.
